PURPOSE

The BLACQ Project was created out of the need to better understand Quebec’s Black history particularly for the Black anglophone community where race and language have been barriers towards social inclusion, belonging and identity.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Last year the BCRC partnered with 3 community organizations to produce projects that focused on social inclusion, identity and cultural awareness of Quebec’s Black English-speaking community.
