Untold Stories: Past, Present & Future

BCRC Project

Bridging the gap between English speaking Black youths and elders, the Untold Stories project entails a video series that explores belonging and identity across a span of 3 generations of English-speaking Black Quebecers.

Collaborating in meaningful ways, the project focuses on 5 English speaking Black families. The video series will explore the untold stories of the experiences of individuals from the Black anglophone community.

The purpose of these videos seeks to investigate and question identity and belonging among first, second, and third generation English-speaking Black Quebecers. Co-organized with community organizations around Quebec, these stories will be shared and highlighted in March.
